Angelina Napoleon, who recently completed her senior year at Allegany-Limestone High in New York, reflects on being selected as the Gatorade National Girls Track and Field Player of the Year at the Gatorade Player of the Year Awards Ceremony on July 11 in Los Angeles. Napoleon, a North Carolina State signee, was one of six finalists for the Gatorade Best Female Player award, recognition that went to softball standout Ava Brown of Lake Creek High in Texas.
